1 Day Acuvue Moist by Johnson and Johnson is the world’s best-selling and most popular contact lens in the world. Made with LACREON Technology, a highly moisturising wetting agent that provides hydration throughout wear, these are great daily contact lenses for dry or sensitive eyes. These lenses must be disposed of at the end of the day.
LACREON technology
1 Day Acuvue Moist contact lenses won’t dry out, thanks to LACREON technology. This technology retains moisture on the surface of the lens. Inspired by the natural behaviour of tears, LACREON keeps these lenses hydrated and comfortable with a presence you'll barely feel.
With a medium level of water content, these lenses provide a hydrated feel all day long, making them ideal for those with dry or sensitive eyes.
UV coverage
Acuvue Moist are UV-blocking lenses, so they are suitable for all weather conditions and can be worn throughout the year. However, in levels of high UV, remember to wear UV-protective eyewear as well as your contact lenses to fully protect your eyes from UV rays.
Easy to insert
These lenses feature Vistint technology, making them easier to find and easier to insert than regular contact lenses. Plus, with a 1-2-3 indicator, it has never been easier to see whether these lenses are inside out.

Can you sleep in Acuvue Moist?
While 1-Day Acuvue Moist provides lasting hydration, they are not suitable for sleeping in. They are daily disposable contact lenses that are designed to be worn for less than 24 hours and must be removed before sleeping. Overwear or sleeping in contact lenses can have serious implications for your eye health and eyesight.
Can you wear Acuvue 1-day contacts twice?
As daily disposable contact lenses, Acuvue Moist should only be worn once for less than 24 hours. After they have been worn, daily disposable contact lenses must be removed and thrown away.
How long can you wear Acuvue Moist Daily?
Thanks to the use of LACREON technology, Acuvue Moist Daily provides hydration for up to 20 hours. However, the recommended time to wear these lenses for ultimate comfort is about 10 or 12 hours, after this time simply remove and dispose of them.
